The Québec government office in Los Angeles took the opportunity to announce that Québec plans to hold three weeks of activities in September 2011 in Hollywood, California, to promote Québec creators, businesses and institutions. The program will revolve around a major event, namely the premiere of IRIS, Cirque du Soleil’s permanent show at the Kodak Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. The program details will be released at a later date. Cirque du Soleil is one of the project partners and will collaborate closely in the activities.
According to Minister Gagnon-Tremblay, “This is an extraordinary opportunity to promote Québec in California, in priority areas identified in the Québec government’s U.S. strategy.”
