To launch the three-day Film Festival, a glamorous evening took place at the Egyptian Theatre last Friday night for the first initiative of its kind from Québec in the city of Angels. The entrance of the theatre was majestically ornamented with a 120 feet long blue carpet, which added a touch of class and Québec style to the venue. Special guests attended the International premiere of Starbuck, such as Québec stars, filmmakers and producers; Denise Robert (Sense of Humour), Daniel Roby (Funkytown), André Rouleau (Funkytown & Startbuck), Sebastien Pilote (Salesman), Ken Scott (Starbuck). Also attended, Mr. François Macerola, President of SODEC (Société de développement des enterprises culturelles) and local Los Angeles stars.
