The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the world's largest and longest-running professionals-only game industry event and it brings together the international community of game developers, publishers and related technology and service companies involved in developing electronic games.
The Programme de stage en didactique du français, culture et société québécoises is an annual 3-week enrichment program that welcomes over 70 teachers of French to Québec every year. The government of Québec offers scholarships to selected participants that help defray the costs. The program, which has been in place since 1978, alternates between Montréal and Québec City.
Quebec has taken an active role in VerdeXchange International Conference on green technologies, which took place in Los Angeles from February 3 to 5. More than 250 companies, policy makers and experts attended that event.
