Within the month of the Francophonie, the Québec Government Office in Los Angeles was pleased to receive a very special guest, the author, comic book writer and linguist Danièle Archambault.

Ms Archambault, a Quebecer who lives in Palo Alto since 20 years, gave workshops to students in grade 6th to 8th at the Lycée français de Los Angeles where they learned what maple taffy is and what’s the job of a comic book writer. She also gave workshops to CE2 and CM1 students from the Lycée international de Los Angeles on how to make a comic book.
Finally, she gave a conference to the Alliance française on myths and truths about the French language in Québec. Her visit to Los Angeles was very much appreciated by all and she left behind her new Québec enthusiasts!
