Québec cinema will shine again this year at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, which will be held January 3 to 14, 2013. Five films have been selected: Camion, by Rafaël Ouellet, Inch’Allah, by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette, Laurence Anyways, by Xavier Dolan, The Fruit Hunters, by Yung Chang, and War Witch, by Kim Nguyen, the Canada’s Oscar pick.
The festival is well known by Quebec filmmakers. Last year, Starbuck by Ken Scott had won the Public Award.
The Palm Springs Film Fest is now one of the largest film festivals in North America, welcoming 135,000 attendees each year for its lineup of new and celebrated international features and documentaries.
