Quebec will be well represented at Sundance, the prestigious independent film festival that will take place in Utah, January 17-27.
"Le Meteore" by François Delisle will make his world debut in the New Frontier category. The story is about forty-something Pierre, his mother and his wife who are linked by crime, guilt and loneliness.
The Short Film program will include "Le Futur Proche", by Montreal-based filmmaker Sophie Goyette. The film tells the story of a French immigrant pilot who receives an unexpected phone call that changes his life forever.
The Québec government office in Los Angeles, which promotes Québec cinema in the Western United States, congratulates the filmmakers for their selection.
