Los Angeles/Silicon ValleyMembers of Parliament of the National Assembly of Quebec will again this year attend the National Leadership Conference of the Council of State Governments (CSG), to be held in La Quinta, California, from May 17 to May 20, 2012.
A relationship between members of parliament of Québec and those of the CSG has actually developed after several years of joint activities, in particular by addressing common issues such as energy, environment or border security.
The Quebec National Assembly gives great importance to inter-parliamentary relations, either by hosting foreign members of parliament in Québec or by sending its representatives to meetings organized by other parliaments or parliamentary associations, including those in United States of America.
Through its program of inter-parliamentary relations, the Quebec National Assembly aims to benefit the institution of the experience of foreign parliamentary systems and at the same time transmit to other parliaments, achievements of Québec parliament in order to deepen and diversify everybody’s knowledge.
