On May 23 – 25, Montréal will hold the first edition of C2-MTL (Commerce and Creativity Montréal) a major business conference where innovators from all industrial sectors will gather for non-traditional experiences showcasing the value of using both the left and right sides of our brains to optimize thinking potential and creativity – specifically in business.
This event will include talks by globally renowned speakers, such as Francis Ford Coppola (filmmaker), Bill Damaschke (DreamWorks), Arianna Huffington (journalist, Huffington Post), Michael Eisner (Former CEO, Walt Disney Group), Jonah Lehrer (Wired Magazine) and Daniel Lamarre (CEO, Cirque du Soleil). Participants will also be invited to attend a special never-before-seen performance of Cirque du Soleil, especially created for the event, as well as immersive exhibitions, a Creativity Boot Camp, match-making events and more.
Jean-François Bouchard, creator of the event, aims at better exploring and unleashing the dynamics between commerce and creativity.
According to Mr. Bouchard, the new reality of conducting business in today’s world dictates that commerce and creativity are practically inseparable. Says Mr. Bouchard: “Creativity is no longer the prerogative of the high-tech industry; it is clearly becoming an important part of strategic management for leaders in the global marketplace, regardless of the sectors in which they operate.”
C2-MTL will take place in a unique innovation village designed exclusively for the event. After the lights go down, participants will be invited to recharge their minds and bodies thanks to a host of fun festivities, including music, movie screenings, receptions and performances showcasing some of Montréal’s best talent.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to help break down the traditional boundaries between industry and creativity.
