Naya Ali is an Ethiopian-born rapper based in Montreal. Naya Ali arrived in 2017 on the Canadian hip-hop scene. In November 2018, she launched her first EP titled Higher Self. Naya Ali made a lot of noise again in March 2020 with the release of the first part of her real debut album Godspeed: Baptism (Prelude). The artist was crowned the English-language Artist of 2020 at the 4th Dynasty Gala and she won the 2021 Black Canadian Music Award. Naya Ali is currently affiliated with the independent record label Coyote Records.
