The very first edition of the Aero & Auto Advanced (AAA) Supplier Summit took place in St Louis, MO from October 8th through 10th. This event brought together companies in the innovative manufacturing space specialized in the automotive and aerospace sectors.
Export Quebec (Carmen Marcu) and the Quebec Government Office in Chicago (Leslie Westfall) worked together to bring a delegation of Quebec-based companies to the event. Among the participants were Fibrotek, LynX Inspection, Omnirobotic, Optimoule, PCM Innovation, Scalian, Vention and Warp Solutions.
The mission started with a visit to Boeing’s St Louis location and a discussion centered on its military programs as well as a visit to the Prologue Room which gives an overview of Boeing’s history and all of its aircrafts. The Quebec companies then attended several presentations focused on the supply chain needs of companies and organizations such as Boeing, Magna, Supply Dynamics and the Center for Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies. Finally, the delegation learned about the Missouri economic environment and business opportunities in the State during an intimate dinner.
October 9th and 10th were dedicated to and intense B2B meetings program with potential clients and partners, which had been organized prior to the mission.
This first edition of the AAA Supplier Summit in St Louis was celebrated as a success and we look forward to increasing our business ties to Missouri over the coming months.
