On the occasion of the Annual Business and Technology Forum 2013, the Québec Government Office in Boston (QGOB) organized a trade mission for three Québec companies in the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) sector. The Forum was held at the Faculty Club in Cambridge (Massachusetts) on May 15, 2013. This event was organized in partnership with the New England Canada Business Council (NECBC) and the Consulate General of Canada in Boston.
Following a speech at the New England Council on May 10th, William "Mo" Cowan, acting as Interim Senator from Massachusetts, and Jean Saintonge, Québec's Delegate in New England, discussed various topics of interest regarding the two regions.
Québec Minister of Finance and the Economy Nicolas Marceau has announced at the International Congress of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO 2013) being held in Chicago from April 22 to 25, 2013, that Québec is participating in the International Collaborative Industrial Program (ICIP) of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Centre (MLSC).

Recognized as the largest international seafood show in North America, the International Boston Seafood Show (IBSS) was held on March 10- 12, 2013 in Boston where it drew more than 20 000 visitors from over 100 countries!
The third annual Bridgewater State University Canadian Studies Spring Symposium will take place on April 18. This event, organized in collaboration with the Québec Government Office in Boston, has for theme “Northern Sovereignties”.
On the occasion of the Francophonie celebrations in New England, the Québec Government Office partnered with its local Francophone and Francophile to develop a rich cultural and educational program highlighting the French language and Francophone cultures.
