On March 17, the Québec Government Office in Boston hosted a matchmaking event for five Québec exporting companies and their New England business partners. The mission was organized by the Société de développement international de Lanaudière (SODIL).
Consultants from the New England business field, such as Pat Jordan from Newton Wellesley Hospital and Bill Fleming from MBTA Transit Police, met the representatives of Québec companies working in the agri-food, transportation, labelling, medical equipment and machinery sectors.
The main objective of these B2B meetings was to give the opportunity to the Québec companies to develop partnerships with New England contacts.
Vahé Apelian, Commercial Attaché at the Québec Government Office in Boston worked on the organization of the mission in collaboration with John Tousignant, President of Partnership Frontiers, responsible of recruiting US consultants.
Mr. Apelian presented the services offered by the Québec Government Office in Boston to the participating companies and also proposed individual marketing plans to help the companies introduce their products in New England.
Participating Québec companies:
La Fromagerie Champêtre
After their passage in Boston, the SODIL mission headed to New York.
