This parliamentary agreement will facilitate the exchange and the collaboration between the two institutions. Québec and Massachusetts have many interests in common, notably education, energy, transport and trade.
Both parliaments have decided to create a forum which help to find solutions to mutual issues, but adapted to the reality of each of them.
This partnership represents a fabulous opportunity for Québec to intensify its presence on the international scene through interparliamentary relations.
Québec-Massachusetts relations are current affairs in Boston: Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, recently carried out a trade mission in Montréal and gave his impressions during the Doing Business in Canada seminar, on November 21,2013.
